Our multidisciplinary work team is made up of both full-time and part-time professionals, partners as well as volunteers and interns in our different programs that make up our conservation strategy.
Luis E. Morales Vallín
Marine biologist with a specialization in coral reefs, Luis is the one who guides our current projects and evaluates the new possibilities of conservation projects. Luis is our founder and since 2007, he has established collaborations with government agencies, agencies and investors, including international programs of the USDA forest service, and Environment Canada, with whom SPBO currently works to recover populations of birds at risk of extinction. His passion and dedication to conservation is what makes our organization strong, as well as his experience and knowledge keep it relevant.
